Meeting Mother
Having found and contacted my mother, and consequently finding out about my siblings, I decided that a trip back to my old home town could be a good idea. Mainly this was to chat to my mum and dad, about the things that had happened in the past, hopefully putting it totally behind us all. Of course I hoped to also meet any members of my birth family that wanted to. Chatting on the phone to my mother went well, and we arranged to meet on Thursday 19th in the evening, near to where my mum and dad live, and where I grew up.

Act in haste, repent in leisure
The original intent of this site, was to create a diary of my searching for my birth parents, and while that was a success, it also seems to have caused a certain amount of stress and strain. Thinking that this was going to be an issue in re-uniting etc, I deleted the site, and thereby also the comments. What I should have done is removed all the names, from the posts and comments. Unfortunately the SQL database that stored the posts and comments, that I backed up, was corrupt, so everything has gone.

Another re-shuffle
Originally this blog was to chart my progress, searching for birth relatives. This happened far quicker than I expected, and has now graduated to a point where other peoples’ lives are involved, so in the interests of keeping everything as private as possible, I’ve removed all the content previously posted.
Fortunately the site wasn’t cached by the search engines so it should truly be gone. I don’t really have a clue what to blog about now, but am going to try and do something. Serious suggestions welcome.
