Belkin F5D7130 wireless access point repeater and the BT HomeHub - AAAAARGH!!

When will I learn? Only a few days after the AOL and wireless repeater debacle, and I’m in a similar situation, this time with BT and its piece of rubbish router, the HomeHub.

I’d set a Belkin F5D7130 Wireless Access Point up as a repeater for a HomeHub using firmware 6.2.6.E, and it worked flawlessly. Some problems with BT caused their tech support (LOL) to upgrade the router to 6.2.6.H, and the repeater promptly stopped repeating. I went into the system settings, and no matter what channel I set the repeater on, the HomeHub stubbornly only sees it as being on channel 1. Making sure everything is on channel 1, with the same password etc and it still refuses to connect, so I can only conclude that the firmware upgrade has killed the WDS feature on BT HomeHubs. What a bunch of w*****s!

<Update> Managed to find and download the 6.2.2.6.E firmware, re-installed it on router, and back to full working order, so the H firmware does indeed break WDS at least for the Belkin repeater.
