Communications Direct phoning again

My daughter has now received a cold call from 02920822640, which the person asked a few questions, such as what tariff etc. The last question asked was are you over 18, to which my daughter replied no, and the caller then put the phone down! Read more

Has the ‘media’ become too powerful?

By media, I mean so called news reporting, whether it be via the internet, television or newspaper.

Everyday it seems stories are being reported upon, and the basic facts are either glossed over or deliberately allowed to be ambiguous, so as to hype a story out of all proportion. Good television returns at last!

The best thing about September (closely following back to school time) is that new TV series are aired, and ongoing series return. For me this means the return of House MD, Heroes and CSI, but I unfortunately need to download them from the US.
